It’s that time of the year again, when we lose ourselves in personal stories and ideas told through compelling images projected on the big screen.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we're all set for the 22nd Israel Film Festival 2014!

Israeli movies have been rousing interest around the globe this year!  Earlier in 2014, six full-length Israeli films made their premiere at Cannes and bagging awards from one end of the world to the other.

This new diversity and thriving creative energy shines through in our film selections for this year, where the Israel Film festival team in Singapore has specially selected 7 scintillating films for your viewing pleasure.

Our opening film, Hunting Elephants has a star-studded cast including Hollywood's very own Sir Patrick Stewart (Trekkie fans, are you reading this?) and Israel's uber-talented veteran actors Sasson Gabai and Moni Moshonov.

Every year, we take it a step further and this year, we're excited to introduce new genres with darker, edgier films like Big Bad Wolves (Thriller) and The Wonders (Mystery).

Crime-centric films have been all the rage recently and we're hopping on the bandwagon with our own interpretation of the genre with our opening crime caper, Hunting Elephants as well as Sweets

The Festival team pays tribute to Singapore's Pioneer Generation with Epilogue (Drama), a poignant film that takes a quiet and touching look at the life of an aging couple struggling to cope with the realities of a modern society.

The festival team pays tribute to love this year with Out in the Dark - the multiple award-winning romance film about the trials and tribulations of an Palestinian Arab and an Israeli Jew.  Out of Sight, our final pick, is not only an excellent family drama but a good mystery that unravels itself from start to finish.
